Introduction
Cards can be collected through various gameplay and added to the Card Catalog (Alt + C). Players can equip up to 6 cards to gain effects and set bonuses.
Your card collection is roster wide and collecting different sets of cards also gives you a collection bonus, awarding you with various combat stats.
Cards have 5 different raritity grades:
- Normal
- Uncommon
- Rare
- Epic
- Legendary
In addition to simply equipping cards for set bonuses, you can enhance your cards to gain an “Awakening Piece”. On each card set, you can gain additional set bonuses if you have the minimum Awakening pieces.
Where to get cards
You can get cards and card packs from various content:
- Abyssal Dungeons
- Guardian Raids
- Adventure Islands
- Sailing Co-ops
- Rapport Rewards
- Traveling Merchants
- Story Quests
- Cash Shop
- Welcome Package/Achievements
You can also buy up to 7 Card packs per week from both Peyto and Cradle of the Fermata. The card packs cost 2,000 Pirate coins each and will give you Normal – Legendary grade card packs.
Card Set and Collection Bonuses
In the “Equip” tab of your Card Catalog (Alt + C), you can view available card sets and see your progress towards different sets. Here you can equip and swap any combination of cards. You can 2 free Card deck presents and can buy additional ones with Gold.
On the right side, you can see the set bonus for your equipped cards. You can also check the set bonuses for each card set by click the “Set Effect Details” button. Equipped Set bonuses do stack with eachother (for example, the Max HP +4% from the Field Boss II 2 set, 4 set and 6 set adds up to a total of 12% Max HP when equipped.
The “X-piece Awakening” set bonuses require you to enhance and awaken your cards.
In the “Books” tab, you can find your Collection Bonus stats. Completing different card sets will give bonus stats for the following:
- Strength
- Dexterity
- Intelligence
- Vitality
- Crit
- Specialization
- Swiftness
- Domination
- Endurance
- Expertise
- Physical Defense
- Magical Defense
You can see what Collection Bonus stats each card sets gives by selecting a set. The “Awakening Level” set bonuses are gained by enhancing and awakening your cards.
How to delete unwanted cards
If you run out of Card Catalog slots, you can either buy more slots using Crystals, or delete unwanted cards.
You can delete unwanted cards by going to the “Enhance” tab in your Card Catalog. Select the “Delete” button at the top, then you can select multiple cards to be deleted.
Deleting cards will give you card EXP, which is used to enhance cards. You cannot restore deleted cards.
Enhancing/Awakening Cards
Cards can be Enhanced and then Awakened in the “Enhance” tab of your Card Catalog (Alt + C). Awakened cards allows you to gain “Awakening points”. These Awakening points can give extra set bonsuses.
For example:
- On the Sian card, I have 3 out of 5 Awakening points.
- On the Sol Grande card I have 1 out of 5 Awakening points.
- The Sian and Sol Grande cards are part of the “We’ll Meet Again” set and this set awards a bonuses for having at least 9 Awakening Points across all the equipped cards from that set.
To be able to enhance cards, you first need Card EXP, and you can see your total Card EXP on the Enhance tab. Card EXP is gained either by deleting cards you don’t need from the catalog, or by using EXP Cards: Soul Leafs, Eternity Essences, Creation Fragments and Manelik’s Tomes.
Once you have Card EXP, you can begin enhancing cards by right-clicking the card you would like to enhance. Enhancing cards will cost stored Card EXP points and will also cost silver.
After enhancing you can Awaken the card in the same window. Awakening cards also costs silver and requires additional copies of the card you want to awaken:
- Level 1 – Requires 1 additional copy of the card
- Level 2 – Requires 2 additional copies of the card
- Level 3 – Requires 3 additional copies of the card
- Level 4 – Requires 4 additional copies of the card
- Level 5 – Requires 5 additional copies of the card
You can check how many additional copies you have on each card.
